Absolute Necromancer | All Master Necromancer

Yo, alright, time to roast and toast “Absolute Necromancer” – or All-Master Necromancer, whatever floats your boat. I scrolled through a ton of Reddit rants and NovelUpdates lists where peeps are either droppin’ it like it’s hot garbage or callin’ it a decent brain-off binge. Spoiler: it’s more of the latter if you’re into those tower-climbin’ revenge flicks, but don’t expect Shakespeare.

Plot-wise, it’s your classic setup: MC Cha Jinhyuk’s this badass Spirit Master who gets backstabbed by his crew at the top of some mysterious tower. Bam, he reincarnates into a Korean kid’s body ten years earlier on Earth, where the tower’s about to pop up and turn the world into a gamer’s nightmare. He’s out for blood, climbin’ back up as a necromancer – summonin’ spirits, undead armies, and all that jazz – while jugglin’ real-life crap like school and hidin’ his OP powers. Sounds cool on paper, right? But Reddit folks are like, “Yo, this dude ain’t even a real necromancer half the time; it’s more like Pokémon with ghosts.” He levels up classes, gets betrayed vibes, and wrecks everyone who crossed him, but it’s got that generic “system apocalypse” feel with plot holes big enough to drive a truck through.

From what users on r/manhwa are spittin’, the art’s solid – clean fights, epic summons that look dope, no complaints there. Early chapters hook you with the revenge setup and some hype action, but by mid-way, it drags like a zombie horde. One dude said he dropped it faster than any other manhwa ’cause the MC’s a whiny prick at first, and the story doesn’t follow its own rules. NovelUpdates peeps mention it’s romance-free (no harem BS, thank god), and it wrapped up at 96 chapters, which is a mercy ’cause some say it fell off hard after the initial bang. Comparisons to Solo Leveling or Boundless Necromancer pop up everywhere – it’s got that power fantasy grind, but without the polish. If you’re cravin’ undead armies and betrayal drama, it’s fun in bursts, but don’t expect deep lore or mind-blowin’ twists; it’s straight-up turn-your-brain-off fodder.

Downsides? Pacing’s a mess, side characters are forgettable as hell, and the ending’s apparently rushed – one review called it “decent start, extreme drop-off.” But hey, if you’re low on reads and want somethin’ quick, it’s not the worst. Solid 7/10 from the community vibes; I’d say 6.5 myself – binge it on a lazy weekend, but don’t hype it up too much. If you like Nano Machine or those regression joints, give it a shot, otherwise, skip for somethin’ with more bite.
